Wanted: Sunnyvale Golfer Sought After Midair Golf-Ball Incident
Low-flying aircraft lands safely after apparent encounter with an exceptionally well-timed tee shot. SUNNYVALE, Calif. — A golfer is being sought for questioning after video appeared to capture a golf ball striking a low-flying aircraft near a Sunnyvale golf course. The footage shows the aircraft approaching as the golfer prepares to tee off. Despite having an unobstructed view of the enormous four-engine airplane crossing the fairway, the golfer completes a full backswing and confidently plays the shot.
